ACUTE PAIN AND POSTOPERATIVE OXIDATIVE STRESS

The influence of premedication on the oxidative stress and on the releasing of free radicals after the surgical interventions.

 

The objective evaluation, acute postoperative stress, surgical intervention by herniotomy, VAS  (visual analogue scale), objective evaluation of pain, MC-Gill University questionnarie, changes of spectrum of lipids, sacharides and proteins, measurement of free radicals changes (TBARS, MDA, SOD, GPX, total antioxidant capacity), direct measurement of free radicals by EPR method (Elektronparamagnetic resonancy).
